Some of our MATCH Cherubs performed tonight at the Filcom Center where a very moving commemorative event called "Sakada Day" was held.
The Sakadas is a group of Filipino men who were imported from the Philippines to work in Hawaii a hundred years ago. This event is to honor these men who are our ancestors and the reason why we are living a good Hawaii life today.
They all did so well in delivering their lines and of course in singing the song "I Am But A Small Voice". I'm one proud MATCH momma! To God be all the glory!
Special thanks to Leo Gozar for having us perform at the event. To all the parents, thank you so much for all your help and support. These kids will go a long way. Keep up the good work!
